If your project needs plans or a building consent, we organise it so you deal with one company from start to finish.

    Call or send a message. We come and look at the site and talk through what you want to build.

  2. Fixed-price quote

    You get a clear, itemised quote. Once you are happy with it, it becomes a fixed-price contract.

  3. Design & consent

    We coordinate the designer and engineer and manage your Auckland Council building consent.

  4. Build & sign-off

    Our team and licensed trades build to the consented plans, book the council inspections and hand over the finished job.

Do you work on fixed-price contracts?

Yes. Once you accept our quote it becomes a fixed-price contract. If you ask for changes along the way, we price them and get your written approval before doing the work.

Can you handle the building consent?

Yes. We coordinate the designer and structural engineer, manage the building consent with Auckland Council and book the council inspections through to sign-off.

Which areas do you work in?

All of Auckland. Recent jobs range from Dairy Flat and Albany in the north to Papatoetoe in the south, and Henderson and Glen Eden in the west.

Are you licensed?

Yes. Fortress Group is a licensed team that holds all the key licences: a Licensed Building Practitioner in Carpentry, a Master Plumber and a Master Electrician. The building, plumbing and electrical work on your job is done by people licensed for that work.

How do payments work?

Payment claims follow the stages of the build and are usually tied to council inspections, so you pay as each stage is completed.

What paperwork will I get?

For jobs over $30,000 you get a written contract, plus the disclosure statement and checklist the Building Act requires, before any work starts.

Are you insured?

Yes. Fortress carries insurance for the building work we do.
